About
Audio plugins for Mac and iPad — built to sound exactly like one thing, and do it better than anything else.
DawgPound Audio started with a simple frustration: most plugins try to do everything, and end up doing nothing exceptionally. We wanted the opposite — one plugin, one purpose, no compromises.
Our first instruments began as internal tools. A piano that felt like playing a real Steinway in a quiet studio at 2 AM. A garage reverb built by setting up microphones in an actual garage and capturing every inch of that room with a sine sweep. A reverb effect that didn't just simulate a space but created a mood — dark, cinematic, noir.
Every plugin in the DawgPound Audio catalog is designed around a specific sonic identity — not a feature list. We write every line of DSP code, capture every impulse response, and test everything in real DAW sessions before it ships.
